It is a very exciting time for the team at Scan2List.

We are very excited to announce that we are just about to hit our 100 000th download.

In the last few months we have updated our scanning software, ironed out some bugs and are continuing to have fantastic reviews. We have stepped up our social media presence with things like "Add It To Your Trolley Tuesday", "Find A Deal Friday", "What's For Dinner" and other varied food, shopping and lifestyle titbits. We also report all Aus/NZ food recalls thanks to the support of Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ). Go to www.facebook.com/scan2list and 'like' us to keep abreast of what's going on.

It is because of You, our wonderful users that we have been successful in this competitive market and we would really like to celebrate our success with you. We are running a little competition. If you haven't already, download the app now either by clicking the "download now" button at the top of the website or via the iTunes app store (its free) and become a registered user. We will draw out the closest registered user to our 100 000^th download and they will win a twin pack of Drayton's Hunter Sparkling Wine in a swanky bag. We are very proud to announce the launch of our iPhone application Scan2List into the Australian Market.

Scan2List is a free Australian iPhone App that allows you to quickly and easily create shopping lists simply by scanning the barcodes of items in your pantry or manually adding them to a list. Lists can then be saved for future use and be synchronised with other Scan2List App users in the household. When at the shops, a list can be organised into aisles that match the layout of the store and items can be checked off as they are added to the trolley.

Some of the benefits of using Scan2List include:

• users always have their shopping list with them and can add needed items as they run out or whenever they spring to mind
• Lists can be synchronised with other Scan2List users in the household so whoever does the shopping is confident that they are purchasing the exact products needed.
• Lists can be arranged into an aisle order that matches your favourite store and saved for recurring use

Our Scan2List Application uses Australian units of measure, Australian Naming, and recognises Australian Barcodes from an ever growing list of items stored on the Scan2List database. It works with multiple stores, and not just for groceries either; think about Christmas shopping lists, weekend DIY lists, holiday checklists and even the wedding gift registry.

LET THE TESTING BEGIN

The Scan2List Application has now been delivered has been operating in beta test mode for about 10 days now.

The platform is working really well and from all reports so far, our wonderful Testers are experiencing a high level user experience and  enjoying the engagement with the application.

I would like to acknowledge the Scan2List Beta Test Partners Park & Fly and The Deb Bailey Foundation. Everyone is wrapped in the ease of the application and the way their ads and information are being delivered.  The manner is both informative and unobtrusive. We will be very excited to hear the reports from them on how Scan2List is growing customer awareness and their presence in the marketplace.

At Scan2List our main objective is to offer You a first class user experience. Whether you are doing the groceries, planting a new garden or starting your Christmas shopping, we want to all make list building fun and enable you to save time.
